Red Rose Wedding

Two things come to mind when I hear the words "True Love". The first is the funny priest from the Princess Bride saying "twue wove", the second, are red roses - the ultimate symbol of love.

And as today's wedding theme is true love, the theme for the wedding I put together is red roses. Everywhere. First, I found these incredible handmade wedding invitations, programs, the whole kit and kaboodle, from RSVP Handmade Wedding Stationary in England. Each piece has a real rose bud on it. Incredible. And your guests will catch on to the theme very quickly.

The flowers, obviously, a red bouquet, this one with black-red lily's. The wedding aisle, completely covered in a thick blanket of red roses to glide down. The bridesmades in a rose red evening gown with these wonderful red floral shoes I saw on Amazon.

When thinking about a dress, the texture of roses came to mind - soft. The fabric that came to mind was lace - hence, this wonderful gown from one of my favorite designers, Jasmine Bridal. For the hair do - a chignon with a single red rose.

I also found a neat red rose tie for the groom and his attendants that's not too cheezy. The cake is a simple concoction accented by dozens of red roses. At the reception, the bride and groom's chairs decorated by ropes of red rose buds, and the tables with tall vases with rose domes.

And for the flight the next day, a beautiful red rose dress from Forever 21. You'll be smelling beautifully for weeks with this wedding.
